How much will the RPL assessment cost me?
RPL assessment is done FREE OF CHARGE for students that have enrolled with BMT College.
Do I still need to pay the full study fee?
If you are exempted for 60% or more of the required credits, NO.
I can claim more than 60% of the credits. Why do I still need to pay a fee for the credits I was exempted for?
BMT College still needs to assess, moderate and verify the evidence submitted for the exempted Unit Standards.
I am not sure if I will qualify for exemption. Can you assess my RPL exemption application before I enrol with the College?
RPL assessment involves a lot of time and effort. The assessment is therefore only done for serious students who have enrolled with BMT College. You may however complete the RPLSelf Evaluation to get an indication of the credits you may be exempted for. Please note that this is only an indication, and you may still be required to complete additional evidence.
How do I apply for RPL?
Once you have enrolled and paid the registration fee you:
Request the RPL forms or download it from the College website.
Gather the evidence of prior experience or training obtained.
Submit the forms to BMT College for assessment.
What will happen then?
The Assessor will verify and assess the evidence provided
An RPL transcript stipulating the exempted credits are issued.
Study material to complete the remaining credits is sent.
