Frequently Asked Questions on Banking

Question - When do I start with my Monthly Payments?
Answer - You can choose the date on the registration form suitable to your circumstances to start with the monthly Payments. Remember that all your payments must be up to date in order for study modules to be released.

Q - How do I repay my monthly payments and what if I default on any payments?
A - The study fee is paid over the selected period of either 12 or 18 months. Payments will be deducted on the day you indicated on the Debit Order Form. This may be the last working day or the 15th day of the month. Please ensure that the amount due is available in your bank account on this date. If your bank does not allow the deduction or has reversed the payment, your lectures will be put on hold and you will not receive any further lectures until your payments are up to date. Your account will be debited for any bank charges that we incur for non payment of your debit order.

Q - What must I do if I realise that a payment has been returned by my bank?
A - As soon as you realise that this has happened, phone one of our study advisors at the college and arrange to make a direct payment into our bank account. This will enable you to continue your studies uninterrupted. Always advise the college beforehand if you find yourself in financial difficulties.

Q - If I cancel my studies will I get a refund?
A - The registration fee is a non-refundable payment. You have 14 days from date of registration to cancel. Once you have received your first module of lectures you are liable for full payment of your studies as indicated in the Contract you signed with BMT College.

Q - Will you reimburse me if my employer decides at a later stage to pay for my studies?
A - The College will reimburse you the full amount of the actual Study Fee but the interest paid on your study fees to date will be used to recover administration cost
